That’s why when Amy Lewis – founder of the Mooeys Group – hit a critical turning point in her business, she reached out to Adelphi Manufacturing to trial the Response Benchtop Filling Machine.

Amy first encountered the Response Benchtop Filler at IdeasFest 2024, where she met Dean from Adelphi. “I was just moseying on by and saw Dean filling up some really small bottles with this incredible bit of kit,” she recalls.

“I’m not a big enough company to be ordering 1,000 of each product,” she says. “Not yet — we will be.”

“Dean came over to my house and put the whole Benchtop Filler machine together in my dining room,” she says. “It probably took up not even a quarter of the table. It is a mighty bit of kit… really well engineered.”

“What surprised me… was how easy it was. Really quick and pain-free.”
As someone who’d never handled production herself, Amy had concerns about clean-up and complexity. But the Response Benchtop Filler delivered on every front.
“It’s kind of easy to clean and that was one of my biggest concerns,” she says. “But it’s really easy. I was able to clean it all out in my kitchen sink.”

Amy’s first run was a game-changer. “I managed to create 600 products that fundamentally would have cost me nearly £1 each to pay someone else to manufacture.”

“If you do the maths and work out how much you’re doing, the machine will pay for itself really soon,” she says. “If you’re making 1,000 products a month, this is such an investment.”
