We are Now Hiring: Adelphi Group company Pharma Hygiene Products are looking for a Welder Fabricator to join their growing team. This role will involve a variety of welding tasks, from modification of stainless steel containers, to welding of machinery components to be fitted to packaging machinery.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manual TIG welding and general fabrication
• Welding of mainly thin gauge 304 or 316 grade stainless steel
• Setting up and operating fabricating machinery such as a CNC Saw & Guillotine
• To read and interpret engineering drawings supplied by the Operations Manager and Engineering Department

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven fabrication competence and certification (NVQ or similar)
• The ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines
• Car and forklift truck license not essential but desirable

A welder fabricator is a skilled professional who specializes in welding and metal fabrication. This role involves the creation, assembly, and repair of metal structures, components, and products. Welder fabricators work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys, using different welding techniques such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and stick welding. They interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the design requirements, and then use their expertise to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces into the desired form. Welder fabricators may work in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, and engineering, contributing to the production of anything from industrial machinery to architectural structures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of metallurgy and welding techniques.
