Welcome Sam, our new Mechanical Design Engineer

[:en]On Monday 14^th October, Adelphi were pleased to welcome new starter Sam Nye, who joins Adelphi Masterfil’s team as a Mechanical Design Engineer.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton University, Sam had four years’ experience in consumer product design in the marine industry, before he ran his own product design consultancy business for a further three years. In a fun twist of fate, Sam remembers crossing paths with at least one of his new colleagues, during his time at Brighton University!

Sam describes his interview experience with Adelphi Masterfil Director Francisco Neto and Project/Operations Manager Satal Thethy as “interesting, they were both engaging and clearly impassioned by the products” and says that he was also won over by Adelphi’s “focus on employee wellbeing – they clearly really care about staff”.

At Adelphi Masterfil, Sam will be putting all his considerable experience into practice in a newly created Research and Development role, where his time will be focussed on the double-award winning System F range of innovative filling machines.

Sam describes his new colleagues as “really friendly”, and says that “the more I learn about the products the more excited I am about the role.” He is looking forward to “meeting whatever challenges are thrown at me” in his new working environment.

We are thrilled to welcome Sam aboard, and to see how the System F range develops under his meticulous eye. An exciting new addition to the Masterfil team; watch this space![:]
