On Friday 27th September, Adelphi hosted their annual Bake-Off, which this year was timed to coincide with the Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ stands as an iconic and impactful fundraising event that brings communities together to support individuals affected by cancer. Every year in September, individuals, schools, workplaces, and communities across the UK host coffee mornings, inviting friends, family, and colleagues to share a cup of coffee, delicious treats, and, most importantly, contribute to the vital work of Macmillan. The funds raised during the event go towards providing practical, emotional, and financial support for people living with cancer and their families. ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ has become a symbol of solidarity and compassion, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where people can connect, share stories, and raise awareness about the challenges faced by those affected by cancer.
