Cosmoprof Bologna 2019 to Focus on Sustainability

Cosmoprof Bologna is the world’s leading trade show for the beauty and cosmetics industry, held annually in Bologna, Italy. This prestigious event serves as a global platform where beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators converge to showcase their latest products, trends, and technologies. With a rich history spanning several decades, Cosmoprof Bologna has established itself as a pivotal event for networking, business opportunities, and market insights. Manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and beauty enthusiasts from all corners of the globe gather here to explore the vast array of beauty products, ranging from skincare and makeup to haircare and fragrances. The event is not only a hub for product launches but also a melting pot of creativity and innovation, where attendees can witness live demonstrations, participate in workshops, and engage in discussions about the future of the beauty industry.
They have designed their 2019 event to focus on sustainability. Simon Pitman wrote about this momentous decision last week for Cosmetics Design Europe, stating that “the event organisers note that businesses are showing an increased commitment to becoming eco-sustainable, both in terms of their business operations and their products”. More and more, he says, “manufacturers are being called upon” to demonstrate their initiatives in this area.
