Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital give new Apollo II Liquid Viewer a trial run before it’s upcoming launch
Existing Adelphi Laboratory Equipment and Adelphi Process Equipment customer Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital in London recently tried out the newly designed Apollo II Liquid Viewer, and were impressed with the results.
The Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit at Guy’s Hopsital in London Bridge have been a customer of Adelphi’s for a number of years, owning an ampoule filling machine, stainless steel process vessels, as well as several small scale pieces of laboratory equipment. They had been using the previous model of Adelphi’s Apollo II Liquid Viewer, so when Adelphi needed a helping hand with trials on the new version of the unit, Guy’s were happy to help.
Senior Pharmacy Technician Tommy Holmes reported back the following from one of the operators in their facility trialling the unit –
“With the new addition of the folding panels, this design makes the unit excellent for storage. It’s easy to assemble/fold back, and the slight sloping base of the unit makes inspections a more comfortable experience, as the operators arms can rest on the base. Overall i would definitely prefer to work with the new unit rather than the previous version”.[:]
